‘Lunar Bow’ PD365
‘Lunar Bow’ PD365, at sea, 1982. Purse seiners gradually encircle a school of fish. Once the circle is complete, they draw in their nets, similar to a draw string purse. It is possible she is laying her nets in this image.

Pelagic trawler with a length of 33.87m, built in Norway in 1978 by Flekkefjord Simek A/S. She was owned and skippered in the 1980s by John Buchan of Peterhead.

She was sold and renamed 'Westward' BF350 and then 'Lønnøy' H-38-B of Norway. She later became ‘Lønnøy Junior’ and finally ‘Structure’. She was scrapped in 2014.
