Crew on board ‘Stella Maris’ CN158 tending the bag of a ring-net as the catch – some 30 crans – is brailed into the neighbour-boat in Moonen Bay, Skye, c.1952.

L-R: Duncan McIsaac, fending off the neighbour-boat; John ‘Jock’ Meenan (skipper); Cecil Finn; Jim Meenan and Denis Meenan (Jock’s nephews).

The neighbour-boat was probably ‘Regina Maris’ CN118, owned and skippered by Cecil Finn’s uncle, Pat McKay.
