'Catherine Ann', TT31, and 'Maryeared', TT57, Tarbert, Argyll, 25th July 1984.

‘Maryeared’ was built by Weatherhead & Blackie, Port Seton, in 1964, for Duncan ‘Moora’ MacAlpine, Tarbert, and sold to England in 1994.

‘Catherine Anne’, her neighbour-boat, was built by Weatherhead & Blackie, Dunbar, in 1969, for Archibald MacAlpine and his brother Duncan, and sold to Oban in 1996.

'Catherine Ann' and 'Maryeared' were built as ring netters but they later pair trawled for herring.
