Boats at Eyemouth pier, taken from 'Amaranth', BK81. On the left, the ballast stones from the boat. After each fishing season the stones were taken out and cleaned before being put again season, in total around 3-4 times a year. The boat in the middle is a sailing drifter whereas the others are motorised.
