The ceremonial launch in 1902 of the skiff ‘Rescue’ at Robert Wylie’s boatyard, New Quay, Campbeltown, for Dugald Muir, fisherman, Peninver.

She was paid for by public subscription to replace the skiff he lost while rescuing the crew of a fishing boat, the ‘Red Ribbon’ CN154 which grounded on a reef at Smerby. He died on 8 November 1902, seven months after receiving the new boat.
