Henderson Stewart, MP, at St Monans.

Henderson Stewart was a conservative and unionist MP until the 1960s. It is believed this image was taken in the 1920s.

The gentleman standing in the background wearing a hat and smoking a cigarette, is Philip Easson of St Monans. He was the youngest son of John and Euphemia Easson born at 9 Braehead St, St Monans, in 1893 . His father, John, was the master of his own boat 'The Provider', KY81.

Philip was a fish auctioneer who travelled across the country auctioning fish. He is pictured in SFM_ auctioning fish. He married Elizabeth Fleming Watson of Cellardyke on 26th December 1924, he was 31 and Elizabeth was 28, and they did not have any children.
