Skiff, CN247
Loch Fyne skiff, CN247, with sail from CN223, c 1900.

The two men forward are standing on the forecastle deck, as their relative elevation shows. CN247 was the ‘Mary’ of Carradale, owned by John Galbraith, and the sail marked CN223 originally belonged to another Carradale skiff, Robert McCallum’s ‘Welcome Home’. The photograph was taken at the pier, Port Crannaig, Carradale.
