‘Golden Dawn’ CN119 was built as ‘Golden Eye’ BA241 in 1933 by Walter Reekie, St Monans, for J. and T. McQuisten, Girvan. She became ‘Enterprise’ of Maidens, with the same registration, before being sold in 1936 to Dan Conley Sr. (skipper), Dan Conley Jr., John Conley and Charles McKinven, Campbeltown, and renamed ‘Golden Dawn’. She was requisitioned for wartime service and, in 1947, after her return to Campbeltown, ownership was transferred to John Conley and Dan Conley Jr. She was sold to Avoch in 1954.
