Postcard entitled 'Waterfoot, Carradale, Argyll'.
Postcard entitled 'Waterfoot, Carradale, Argyll' showing 'Water Cress', CN3, in the harbour.

‘Watercress’ CN3 was built in 1934 by J. Noble, Fraserburgh, for Robert McDougall, Port Rìgh, Carradale. In 1947, ownership was transferred to Matthew McDougall, Port Rìgh. Her neighbour was ‘Queen of the Fleet’ CN269, owned and skippered by Dugald Campbell, Waterfoot. ‘Watercress’ was sold to Belfast and her registration was cancelled in 1964, when she ceased fishing. ‘Rob’ McDougall retired from fishing in 1938 to concentrate on managing his boarding house, ‘Dunvalanree’, and died in 1955, aged 69.
