Fishermen stringing ‘rashers’ of herring for taking home, c 1932. L-R: the brothers John, Angus, Henry and Duncan Martin of the skiff ‘Fame’ CN118, which is alongside Dalintober Quay. The quay was tidal and the Dalintober fleet ordinarily lay offshore at moorings.
