Postcard entitled 'Skateraw Lifeboat, Dunbar' showing lifeboat Sarah Kay, and lifeboat coxswain, Walter Fairbairn. Before this lifeboat existed, the Dunbar lifeboat used to go to Thornton Loch and launch there. This journey would take an hour.

Walter Fairbairn was also Skipper of Fifie 'Boy Peter', which was 48 feet in length.
