Portrait of Adam Reid, Margaret Davidson and Margaret Reid, Cellardyke.
Portrait of Adam Reid, Margaret Davidson and Margaret Reid, 20 Shore Street, Cellardyke.

L-R: Adam Reid, Margaret Davidson, and Margaret Reid.

Adam Reid was great grandfather to William Coull Deas and John Deas of 'Fruitful II', KY237, and their sister May. He was their grandmother's, Jessie Wood Reid, father. The two girls are believed to be cousins.

The buoys were once believed to be animal skin however this is thought to be incorrect as animal skin buoys do not have boards at the top. Canvas buoys were patented in Cellardyke by Alex Black. Also pictured, nets drying on the stair walls.
