Grimsby trawler 'Roman' and 'Baltic'.

'Baltic' is likely to be a merchants ship but the others are trawlers. This image could have possibly been taken in Ullapool, owing to the size of the vessels.

'Roman' was owned by the Ranger Fishing Company who named their vessels after tribes of Europe. The 'Gaul' was part of their fleet - she was lost at sea and at one time, was considered to be a spy ship.
