'Tropic Bird', KY112 was built by John Robertson, St Monans and first appears in the register on 2nd February 1900. She was owned and skippered by William Wilson with James Allan as a co-owner. In 1901, she was owned and skippered by James Alan. She foundered on 31st December 1912 with a crew of seven men and one boy on board. It is possible William Wilson was the W.C Wilson fish curer who invested in many boat in the East Neuk
