Description
Built by Ardrossan Dockyard Ltd (Yard no: 428), for the Ardrossan Trawling Co of Glasgow, as Elizabeth Paton GW10. She was launched in early 1960 and completed on 7th April 1960. She had a length of 105ft 7in and a beam of 23ft 5in. Her gross tonnage was 220 tons. She was powered by a 550bhp British Polar 5-cylinder diesel. She was sold in 1972, to George Wood (Aberdeen) Ltd, and then became Heather K Wood A723. In 1983, she was sold to Leicester Trawling Ltd, Haverford West. She was then converted into a shelter deck long liner and renamed Lady Maria A723. In 1988, she was renamed Ocean A723. In 1989, once again she became Lady Maria A723.In 1991, she was renamed Dean AR723. She had landed her catches at Milford Haven, until her Ayr registration was closed in 2000. She was still listed as active, in 2020. However, there are no records of her as still being in existence as such she was likely scrapped sometime previously. IMO: 5101811.
