'Silver Cloud', LK217 and 'Brighter Dawn', LK7 at Foula Pier, 1960.

'Silver Cloud' was built in Poole in 1945 as a motor fishing vessel. Became 'Christine Duthie', FR313, owned by A. Druthie and J. Watt in 1950/ In 1952, was sold to T. Goodland of Shetland and became 'Silver Cloud', FR313 then Lk217. In 1962 sold to Crater brothers and became WK207. In 1978, was once again sold, this time to Ross brothers of Wick. Became 'Firecrest', WK207. Ceased fishing in 1977, then scrapped.

'Brighter Dawn' is ex 'Barbara McKay', WK9. Became the pilot boat 'Bard'.
