Ringnetter and trawler 'Bairns Pride', R048, at sea, c.1978. She was previously registered as BA315 and CN71.

‘Bairn’s Pride’ was built for McCrindles, Girvan, in 1947, by J. N. Miller & Sons, St Monans, and registered BA315. She was afterwards sold to Matt and Billy Sloan, Maidens, who in 1959 sold her to Jim Campbell, Carradale, to replace the ‘Irma’ CN45. He kept the name ‘Bairn’s Pride’ and registered her CN71. She was sold in 1976 to James Blair, Largs, and registered RO48.
