The leading committee member wears the Fisherrow medallion, a solid silver medallion which bears the Musselburgh coat of arms on one side and three mussels + three anchors with an inscription on the other. At the time this image was taken, the medallion was kept in a bank in Musselburgh.

The town hall and clock can be seen in the distance.
