View from 'Radiation', A115, of Balaclava Basin, Fraserburgh, 1984.

This view of the Balaclava Basin was taken from the shelter deck of 'Radiation', A115. She lay there for eight years.

Original image taken by Richard Wemyss.

'Radiation' was the last Aberdeen registered long liner and was built at Smith & Hutton boatyard - the largest vessel ever built in Anstruther. After she ceased fishing the boat was in the collection of the Scottish Fisheries Museum for a time.
