'Strathgarry' PD91
'Strathgarry' was built by Gerrard Brothers of Arbroath, in 1971. She was a wooden motor trawler with a length of 14.94m, a beam of 5.18m and a depth of 1.67m and was 24grt. As built, she was fitted with a 250bhp diesel. This was later replaced with a 299bhp Caterpillar diesel. Her first owners were Angus MacLeod & Donald M. Murray, Isle of Lewis. Initially she was registered in Stornoway as Strathgarry SY88. In 1979, she was owned by Stephen Buchan & others of Peterhead. She then became Strathgarry PD91. In 1982, she was owned by Alexander R. Buchan of Stromness, Orkney. In 1984, she was owned by Ronald C. Brownie of Carradale. She was then registered at Campbeltown as Bonnie Lass II CN126. In 1989, she was converted to a scalloper. This conversion increased her gross tonnage to 37 tons. In 2000, she was sold to John Macalister Ltd of Oban. In 2005, she was sold to Brian McGuirk of Maryport. In 2012, she was registered at Maryport, as Bonnie Lass MT126. In 2018, she was sold to Michael Inglesfield of Ramsey, Isle of Man. She was then registered in Ramsey as Bonnie Lass RY189. She was known to still be in the Isle of Man 2020.
