Dorothy Gray A202
Trawler Dorothy Gray A202 in Arctic waters, as evidenced by ice on her bow. 1995.
Built by McTay Marine Ltd (Yard no: 78) at Bromborough, Merseyside, England, for Aberdeen Skipper Terry Taylor. She was launched on 6/10/1987 and completed on 27/1/1988. Her length was 123ft, and her beam was 29ft 7in. Her gross tonnage was 494 tons.
She was powered by a 1,770bhp Mirrlees Blackstone 4 stroke 8-cylinder diesel. Dorothy Gray was the last Aberdeen registered deep sea trawler to land at Aberdeen.
She was sold to Orkney owners in 1997 and renamed Norlantean K508. She was decommissioned and scrapped in 2003.
