She was built by Miller's boatyard of St Monans in 1950 for the McArthur family of Campbeltown. She was a typical east coast built ringer, undergoing very few changes over her 34 years of working out of Campbeltown. At the time this image was taken, she was one of the few boats still varnished and was working as a prawn trawler
