Launch of 'Carvida' FR457
'Carvida' FR457 was built by James N Miller at the St Monans yard in 1988 for Andrew J Buchan of Fraserburgh. She was a steel seiner/trawler. She was 24.30m long, with a beam of 7.36m and a draft of 3.93m.
She was powered by a Mirrlees Blackstone 5 cylinder 850bhp diesel. In 1996, she was sold to Francis Wiseman and partners of Macduff. She was became 'Seaward Quest' BF377. In 2000, she was sold to a Stephen Richie. She then became 'Phoenix' FR491. She was still active in 2023.
