'Wilson Line', KY322, Aberdeen, c.1950.
'WIlson Line', KY322, Aberdeen, c.1950. She was the last steam drifter built in UK by Halls of Aberdeen for W.C Wilson of Anstruther in 1936. She was built on their standard design, but had an extra frame added to add 3ft to her length but she was not any deeper. This made her one of the best sea-going steam drifters ever built. She need to stay shallow so she could enter/leave Anstruther harbour with the tide.

She sold to Great Yarmouth - last registered UK owners was Breydon Marine. She converted to diesel power and fished under a Yarmouth registration. She was then sold to Greece and was last seen around 1998 in Rhodes.

White drift nets can be seen on deck; this is interesting because they were only used at the winter herring in the Firth of Forth and this image was taken in Aberdeen.
