Herring pair-trawl, Firth of Clyde, 1984. Hauling - tied together, the boats tow ahead to work the fish down to the bottom of the net. Here 'Aquila' OB99 and 'Silver Gem' finish a tow. 'Silver Gem' was working with 'Alliance' and 'Aquila' temporarily while her own partner was out of action. Original by Rosemary Galer.
