Gigha scalloper 'Vestra', Tayinloan, April 1984, after landing prawns from 'Alliance' CN187 which is too large to get to the pier. The fisherman nearest the camera is Willie Gillies, mate of 'Alliance'.

Almost the end of a long day. After landing, the boats head for the old steamer pier at Gigha for the night. At the end of the week they return home 'round the Mull' or go to West Loch Tarbert to tie up for the weekend. Original by Rosemary Galer.
