Postcard entitled 'Parish Church from New Quay', Campbeltown. A group of men and boys stand around a cart on New Quay. The image has been annotated with handwritten notes identifying people and buildings.

The building at left belonged to James Newlands, fish-curer, as the sign on the gable declares.
‘Richmond’s Yacht Shed’ refers to George MacGregor Richmond FRSGS, a keen yachtsman and popular commodore at the Campbeltown fishermen’s regattas, who owned the mansion Rosemount, on the north shore of Campbeltown Loch, and died in 1927.

The small skiff ‘Valkyrie’ CN434 – 23 feet of keel – belonged to James McKinlay, Dalintober.
