The walk ends at approximately 6pm and then everyone goes to a dance at Brunton Hall where only those dressed in traditional clothing will be let in.

The Fisherrow Fisherman's Box Walk is similar to other celebrations in other locations. Cockenzie and Port Seton crown a Gala Queen. Dunbar crowns a Lifeboat Queen, and Eyemouth crowns a Herring Queen.
