Looking west from the bridge at the railway station, Anstruther.

This image is believed to have been taken sometime between 1953-1960, owing to the style of the British Railway sign hanging at the station. This design changed in style after 1965. Likewise, in the background, council houses of Pittenweem can be seen; these were constructred between 1952-1954. Addition, the slaughterhouse can be seen; this closed in 1962.
