Fifies shown: 'Flowery Lad', LH1026,built in Cockenzie on 9/9/1890 and registered at Leith. She was owned by Kenny Caranwell and Peter Johnston. She had a soft keel and was used for herring and white fishing. The other fifie seen is one registered at Berwick.

This was the harbour entrance until 1964.
