Mary Horsburgh, Pittenweem, 1908.

Mary Horsburgh was born in 1889 to Robert Horsburgh, Pittenweem, and Mary Flett, Findochty. They had 12 children who all grew to adulthood. Mary made her living as a Herring Lass working in Shetland, Peterhead, Grimbsy, and Great Yarmouth. She also mended nets. Mary married Peter Murray, a fisherman in 1913. She died in 1970.
