Description
Claymore figurehead, near Forfar. The figurehead was later donated to the Scottish Fisheries Museum, before being transferred to the Scottish Maritime Museum, Irvine. Built in 1881, the S.S. Claymore was owned by David MacBrayne and sailed between Glasgow and Stornoway. Donor - Mrs Gow
