Fisherrow FIsherman's Box Walk, New Street, Fisherrow, 7th September 1979. Pictured: Mr Ronald, Alex Thorburn, Walter Livingstone, Archie Thorburn. The walk was started in 1868 and revived in 1968. The ladies or fishwives traditionally wave white hankies to passers-by and sing the Fisherrow song 'Weel nay the boatie row'.
