‘Gallic Rose’ BCK109
'Gallic Rose' BCK109, 21/08/1980

One of the first purse seiners in the Scottish fleet ‘Gallic Rose’, along with her sister ship ‘Gallic May’ BCK108, was built in Dieppe in 1975 for Gallic Shipping Ltd. of London. Both boats were 92 feet long and 181 tons.

‘Gallic Rose’ was sold in 1984 to William Irvine of Symbister and others, before being sold again in 1988 to G W Sanderson of Whalsay and registered ‘Adenia’ LK193.
