Purse seiner ‘Courage’ was built in 1974 by Hall, Russell & Co Ltd, Aberdeen for George, David & Brian West, Banff.

Subsequent history:
1977 Fitted with shelter deck, 3 RSW tanks and lengthened to 30.24 m by Maaskant at Stellendam
1988 Fitted with whaleback, new wheelhouse and lengthened to 35.14 m by Maaskant at Stellendam
1996 Sold to Norway, converted to trawler and renamed ‘Fairy’ H-12-B.
